A locality in Anuradhapura to the north of Sirisamala. Konagamana Buddha preached the Dhamma there and twenty thousand people realized the truth. To the north was the Asokamalaka (Mhv.xv.118,153). In Nagamalaka was the Silasobbhakandaka cetiya, and, near it, Thulatthana built another cetiya. MT.355.
