Nādaja (नादज) refers to the “centre born from sound”.—(Cf. Śivasthāna)—According to the Tantrasadbhāva:—“[...] Above that is the centre born from Sound (nādaja). The letter Ma goes there. That is said to be Śiva's abode where Sound (nāda) originates. O beloved, above the uvula, where your two Points are (located) is said to be the End of Emission (visargānta) and, O fair lady, the End of the Twelve”.
