Nācike (ನಾಚಿಕೆ):—

1) [noun] the quality or state of being modest; esp. a) unassuming or humble behaviour b) lack of excesses or pretensions; moderation; c) decency; decorum; modesty.

2) [noun] a painful feeling of having lost the respect of others because of the improper behaviour, incompetence etc. of oneself or another; shame.
