Ṇac (णच्).—Krt affix अ (a) in the sense of reciprocal action, added to any root; the affix णच् (ṇac) is to get necessarily the affix अञ् () added to it followed by the fem. affix ई (ī) e.g. व्यावकोशी, व्यावहासी (vyāvakośī, vyāvahāsī); cf. Kas, on P.III.3.43 and P. V. 4.14.
