The Mydavolu plates issued by Śivaskandavarman, while he was still a Yuvamahārāja, in the 10th year of the current reign, register the gift of the village of Viripara, situated in the Aṃdhāpatha and the grant was addressed to the Vyāpṛta or the Pallava governor at Dhaṃñakaḍa. The British Museum plates are dated in the reign of Mahārāja Vijayaskandavarman and register a gift of land at Kaḍaka or Dhaṃñakaḍa. This grant too was addressed to the Vyāpṛta at Kaḍaka. The donor, Cārudevī, was the wife of Yuvamahārāja Vijayabuddhavarman, who was obviously the son of Vijayaskandavarman, the reigning monarch.
