Muṇḍeti, (denom.—Caus. from muṇḍa) to shave Mhbv 103.—pp. muṇḍita.—The BSk. has only Caus. II. muṇḍāpayati, at Divy 261. Should Dhtp 106 “muṇḍ= khaṇḍha” be the definition of muṇḍati? — At J. III, 368 we find muṇḍati for muṇḍeti (kuṇṭha-satthena muṇḍanto viya), which should prob. be read muṇḍento. (Page 536)
