Mukha-kaṭṭaṇa.—(SITI), porch; also called darśana-kāṇikkai; front side of a building (SII 12). Note: mukha-kaṭṭaṇa is defined in the “Indian epigraphical glossary” as it can be found on ancient inscriptions commonly written in Sanskrit, Prakrit or Dravidian languages.
