Source: academia.edu: A Prayer for Rebirth in the SukhāvatīMṛdujihva (मृदुजिह्व) refers to “pliable tongue” and represents the forty-eighth of the eighty minor marks of distinction (anuvyañjana) mentioned in the Sukhāvatī and following the order of the Mahāvyutpatti (269-348). In Tibetan, the characteristic called Mṛdujihva is known as ‘ljags mñen pa’. The Sukhāvatī represents a prayer for rebirth which was composed by Karma chags med, a Karma bka’ brgyud master, who lived in the seventeenth century.
