謀人 [móu rén] [mou ren]—
1. A person with wisdom and resourcefulness. From Book of Documents 《書經 [shu jing]》, The Oath of Qin 〈秦誓 [qin shi]〉: "Only the ancient strategists said: 'I have not yet achieved what I sought to avoid 未就予忌 [wei jiu yu ji].'"
2. To plan or strategize for others. From History of the Southern Dynasties 《南史 [nan shi]》, Volume 24, Biography of Wang Zhenzhi 王鎮之 [wang zhen zhi]: "Siyuan 思遠 [si yuan] said to him: 'Current affairs are a bit different, brother, do you perceive it? Most people are clumsy 拙 [zhuo] at planning for themselves 自謀 [zi mou], but skillful 巧 [qiao] at planning for others .'" From Ming 明 [ming] Dynasty, Fang Xiaoru 方孝儒 [fang xiao ru]'s "On Deep Thought" 〈深慮論 [shen lu lun]〉: "Indeed, wisdom 智 [zhi] can be used to scheme against people , but cannot be used to scheme against Heaven 謀天 [mou tian]."
