Source: DDSA: The Molesworth Marathi and English Dictionarymōghaṇā (मोघणा).—m A particular tube with a seed-cup belonging to a pābhara or drill-plough. It is attached to the pābhara by a cord, and it follows it in a particular furrow made by one of the teeth of it, in order to deposit therein the seed of tūra or other pulse, whilst the other furrows are sown with jōndhaḷā, bājarī, or wheat. Applied also in the sense of mōghaḍa or mōghaṇa Sig. I. 2 By meton. The furrow sown by this tube.
