Mituṉam (மிதுனம்) noun < mithuna.

1. Couple, pair; இரட்டை. [irattai.]

2. Gemini of the zodiac; மிதுனராசி. (பிங்கலகண்டு) [mithunarasi. (pingalagandu)]

3. The third solar month. See ஆனி. [ani.]

4. Male and female; ஆண்பெண் இரட்டை. கின்னர மிதுனங்களும் [anpen irattai. kinnara mithunangalum] (நாலாயிர திவ்யப்பிரபந்தம் பெரிய.ாழ். [nalayira thivyappirapandam periyazh.] 3, 6, 5).
