1) pretended kindness or service; मिथ्योपचारैश्च वशीकृतानां किमर्थिनां वञ्चयितव्यमस्ति (mithyopacāraiśca vaśīkṛtānāṃ kimarthināṃ vañcayitavyamasti) H.

2) (in medic.) a wrong treatment of a malady.
