Agile (敏捷 [min jie]) and intelligent (聰明 [cong ming]). From Chapter 34 of Romance of the Three Kingdoms (《三國演義 [san guo yan yi]》): "It turned out that Cao Cao (曹操 [cao cao]) had five sons, but only Zhi (植 [zhi]) was by nature quick-witted and perceptive, and skilled in literature (文章 [wen zhang]). Cao Cao (曹操 [cao cao]) loved him the most in his daily life."
