蒙頭衲被 [méng tóu nà bèi] [meng tou na bei]—
To cover one's head with a quilt and sleep (擁被蓋頭眠 [yong bei gai tou mian]). It is a metaphor for a passive attitude of not caring about worldly affairs (不問世事 [bu wen shi shi]). Also written as "to cover one's head with a patched quilt" (衲被蒙頭 [na bei meng tou]).
