Source: DDSA: The Molesworth Marathi and English Dictionarymēṇabājāra (मेणबाजार).—m A bazar of booths and stalls fixed and removed daily. It is held in the main street in parallel rows with the regular shops; its merchandise consists of Slops and an omniumgatherum of old or trifling articles. The word is doubtless from Main. mēṇabājārī A stall-man or salesman in it. Hence A disreputable fellow.
