Mayūrāṇḍa (मयूराण्ड) refers to a “peacock’s egg”, according to the Mahārthamañjarī and Tantrāloka:—[...] We have seen that it is the emission, that is, the dynamic, creative energy of Śiva through which he manifests as all things. United with his emissive energy that generates and absorbs the universe, and animated by it, Śiva rests in himself even as he contains in a potential form all manifestation, just as the splendid, multi-coloured peacock is present in the juices of its egg (mayūrāṇḍa-rasavat), or the banyan tree in its seed.
