Source: DDSA: The Molesworth Marathi and English Dictionarymāyathaḷa (मायथळ).—n Mother's, i.e. native place. A term used by a cast or dissatisfied litigant in appealing from an award in his own village or neighborhood, and demanding a fresh investigation at a parasthaḷa; realizing the principle that "a prophet hath no honor in his own country." Ex. hē mī mā0 mānitōṃ dusarēṃ thaḷa malā dyā.
