, Matulajanapada. One of the provinces of Ceylon (Cv.xcv.22; xcvi.4; xcviii.65), the modern Matale. The name is found only in the latest part of the Culavamsa. In the earlier parts it is called Mahatila (Cv.lxvi.71). Near by is Aloka vihara.
