Ayurveda (science of life)
Marmavibhāga (मर्मविभाग) is the name of two Manuscripts dealing with the “nature of the vital parts of the body and the treatment of their diseases”.—The manuscript description is found in “A Descriptive Catalogue of the Malayalam Manuscripts in the Government oriental Manuscripts Library, Madras” composed by Vidyasagara Vidyavacaspati P. P. Subrahmanya Sastri.

Āyurveda (आयुर्वेद, ayurveda) is a branch of Indian science dealing with medicine, herbalism, taxology, anatomy, surgery, alchemy and related topics. Traditional practice of Āyurveda in ancient India dates back to at least the first millenium BC. Literature is commonly written in Sanskrit using various poetic metres.
