Marmas are vital energy points located in the body at junctions of tissues like muscles, nerves, tendons, joints, ligaments, or bones. Obstructions in these points cause disease or discomfort. Marma knowledge is used for both combat and healing. Masters in Kalaripayattu expertly manipulate these points for treatment.
