1. Emerald, one of nava-maṇi, q.v.; நவமணியு ளொன்றான பச்சை யிரத்தினம். மரகத மணியோடு வயிரங் குயிற்றிய [navamaniyu lonrana pachai yirathinam. maragatha maniyodu vayirang kuyirriya] (சிலப்பதிகாரம் அரும்பதவுரை [silappathigaram arumbathavurai] 5, 147).
