maragaḷa (मरगळ).—, sometimes marakaḷa f (maraṇēṃ & gaḷaṇēṃ. Dropping as if dead.) Falling and lying down from exhaustion. ma0 ghēṇēṃ or māraṇēṃ or maragaḷīsa yēṇēṃ To feign exhaustion and lie down--a reluctant or sluggish bullock, horse, man. 2 To be exhausted and prostrated truly (without feint or sham).
