Mantrābhiṣeka (मन्त्राभिषेक) refers to a kind of “spiritual bath” (which affords all kinds of potencies), as discussed in chapter 11 of the (first section of the) Bṛhadbrahmasaṃhitā: a Pāñcarātra text containing over 4600 Sanskrit verses dealing primarily with Vaiṣṇava theology and practical matters concerning the Śrī-Vaiṣṇava community but also discussing aspects of Viśiṣṭādvaita philosophy.—Description of the chapter [śrīsūktārādhana]: Here instructions are given for preparing pots of sanctified water which are to be poured by the Ācārya—saying “May your sins go away!”—over the Śiṣya’s head. The Śiṣya-aspirant petitions the protection of Lakṣmī (1-11). This mantrābhiṣeka-bath affords all kinds of potencies to all sorts and conditions of persons (12-20a). [...]
