Used generally. 2 Dejected, downcast, mournful. 3 Feeble, infirm, poor--an animal or a person: also impaired--a limb, organ, member. 4 Flaccid, soft, weak, wanting consistence--leather or a substance in general. Applied with the liberty of ignorance of the native meaning.
