For example, at Mahārāṇī there is a Sanskrit inscription in the compound of a peasant’s house which records the construction of a temple of Viṣṇu by the king and his queen Lakṣmīdevī.
This inscription belongs to king Vijayamāṇikya of the Kings of Tripurā dynasty and is dated Śaka 1470 (1548 A. D., October 17).
The history of India traces the identification of countries, villages, towns and other regions of India, as well as mythology, zoology, royal dynasties, rulers, tribes, local festivities and traditions and regional languages. Ancient India enjoyed religious freedom and encourages the path of Dharma, a concept common to Buddhism, Hinduism, and Jainism.
