The name of a miracle (patihariya). It enables all beings, from the Akanittha world above to Avici below, to see each other, because the whole universe is illuminated. It is also called Lokappasadaka or Lokappasadana (BuA.40; MT. 226f. confines it to this world only).

It was performed by Sariputta in honour of the Buddha, before the preaching of the Buddhavamsa (Bu.i.47), and again by the arahants, led by Indagutta, to enable Dhammasoka to see simultaneously the celebrations held at the dedication of his eighty four thousand viharas. Mhv.v.188; MT. 226f.
