靈隱 [ling yin]—Lingyin — [Mountain Name] Located west of Hangzhou, Zhejiang. Its original name was Wulin Mountain (武林山 [wu lin shan]), also known as Lingyuan (靈苑 [ling yuan]), and also Xianju (仙居 [xian ju]). The Huanyu Ji (寰宇記 [huan yu ji]) states that Xu You (許由 [xu you]) and Ge Hong (葛洪 [ge hong]) both secluded themselves west of this mountain. There is Beigao Peak (北高峰 [bei gao feng]), which is the highest point of Lingyin, and its magnificent scenery is comparable to Nangao Peak (南高峰 [nan gao feng]). On the mountain, there is Lingyin Temple (寺 [si]), which was renamed Yunlin Temple (雲林寺 [yun lin si]) during the Qing Dynasty, and is a famous ancient temple.

令尹 [lìng yǐn] [ling yin]—
1. Official title. During the Spring and Autumn (春秋 [chun qiu]) period, the chief administrator of the State of Chu (楚國 [chu guo]), equivalent to a prime minister (宰相 [zai xiang]). From The Analects (論語 [lun yu]), "Gongye Chang" (公冶長 [gong ye zhang]): "Ling Yin Ziwen (子文 [zi wen]) was appointed Ling Yin three times, but showed no sign of pleasure." From Zhang Yue's (張說 [zhang shuo]) "Epitaph for Mr. Xu, Granted Posthumous Title of Sishui Prefect and West Terrace Scholar of Tang" (唐西臺舍人贈泗州刺史徐府君碑 [tang xi tai she ren zeng si zhou ci shi xu fu jun bei]) of the Tang (唐 [tang]) Dynasty: "To resign from the post of Ling Yin without resentment, and to lose the post of Sikou (司寇 [si kou]) and proceed with one's journey."
2. A general term for local administrative officials in counties (縣 [xian]), prefectures (府 [fu]), etc.
令尹:1.職官名。春秋時,楚國的執政官,相當於宰相。《論語.公冶長》:「令尹子文,三仕為令尹,無喜色。」唐.張說〈唐西臺舍人贈泗州刺史徐府君碑〉:「去令尹而不慍,失司寇而遂行。」
2.泛稱縣、府等地方行政長官。
