領隊 [lǐng duì] [ling dui]—
1. To lead a team/group. For example: "He will 领队 [ling dui] (lǐngduì) to the sports ground." From "The Case of 彭公案 [peng gong an] (Péng Gōng'àn)", Chapter 99: "吴太山 [wu tai shan] (Wú Tàishān) from that day led some villagers and others, pursuing 蔡庆 [cai qing] (Cài Qìng) to 南山口 [nan shan kou] (Nánshān kǒu). 周坤 [zhou kun] (Zhōu Kūn) was wounded by a dart and could not resist the crowd. He dared not pursue further, so he 领队 [ling dui] (lǐngduì) back to the first 寨门 [zhai men] (zhàimén)."
2. The person who leads a team/group; a team leader. For example: "The 领队 [ling dui] (lǐngduì) instructed us to stay close to the team to avoid getting separated."
領隊:1.帶領隊伍。如:「由他領隊,前往操場。」《彭公案》第九九回:「吳太山自那日領帶些莊丁人等,追蔡慶至南山口,周坤中了鏢傷,不能抵攩眾人,他也不敢往下去追,便領隊回了頭道寨門。」

lǐng duì:1. dài lǐng duì wǔ. rú: “yóu tā lǐng duì, qián wǎng cāo chǎng.” < péng gōng àn> dì jiǔ jiǔ huí: “wú tài shān zì nà rì lǐng dài xiē zhuāng dīng rén děng, zhuī cài qìng zhì nán shān kǒu, zhōu kūn zhōng le biāo shāng, bù néng dǐ dǎng zhòng rén, tā yě bù gǎn wǎng xià qù zhuī, biàn lǐng duì huí le tóu dào zhài mén.”
2. dài lǐng duì wǔ de rén. rú: “lǐng duì zhǔ fù wǒ men yào jǐn gēn duì wǔ, yǐ miǎn zǒu sàn.”
ling dui:1. dai ling dui wu. ru: "you ta ling dui, qian wang cao chang." < peng gong an> di jiu jiu hui: "wu tai shan zi na ri ling dai xie zhuang ding ren deng, zhui cai qing zhi nan shan kou, zhou kun zhong le biao shang, bu neng di dang zhong ren, ta ye bu gan wang xia qu zhui, bian ling dui hui le tou dao zhai men."
