鄰阿迦色 [lin a jia se]—(Lín Āgā Sè) — [Term] It is the color of space (虛空 [xu kong]). Space (虛空 [xu kong]) is unhindered (無礙 [wu ai]), and it borders 'hindered matter' (有礙之物質 [you ai zhi wu zhi]), which is Agha (阿伽 [a jia]). Hence, it is named Neighboring Agha-color, understanding Agha (阿伽 [a jia]) as matter. Alternatively, the 'unhindered empty space' (無礙之空處 [wu ai zhi kong chu]), which is Agha (阿伽 [a jia]), borders other hindered matter. Hence, it is named Neighboring Agha-color, understanding Agha (阿伽 [a jia]) as the realm of space (空界 [kong jie]). See Abhidharmakośabhāṣya (俱舍論 [ju she lun]), Chapter on Dhātus (界品 [jie pin]). Sanskrit: Agha-sāmantakaṃ.
