踉蹌 [liáng qiāng] [liang qiang]—
To walk unsteadily or stagger, walking crookedly (走路歪斜不穩 [zou lu wai xie bu wen]). From Romance of the Three Kingdoms (三國演義 [san guo yan yi]), Chapter 41: "Suddenly, Mi Fang (糜芳 [mi fang]) was seen, with several arrows on him, staggering towards them." From First Collection of Pāi'àn Jīngqí (初刻拍案驚奇 [chu ke pai an jing qi]), Volume 7: "When the Daoist priest (道士 [dao shi]) went to pick it up, his steps were unsteady (腳步 [jiao bu]), and he even fell down." Also written as "踉蹡 [liang qiang]".

踉蹌:走路歪斜不穩。《三國演義》第四一回:「忽見糜芳面帶數箭,踉蹌而來。」《初刻拍案驚奇》卷七:「道士去拾時,腳步踉蹌,連身子也跌倒了。」也作「踉蹡」。

The appearance of walking unsteadily or staggering. From Chapter 32 of Journey to the West 《西遊記 [xi you ji]》: "It turned out that the road was uneven, and I hadn't looked closely; suddenly I was tripped by a vine 《蓏蘿 [luo luo]》 and staggered." From Strange Stories from a Chinese Studio 《聊齋志異 [liao zhai zhi yi]》, Volume 4, "Xin Shisiniang" 《辛十四娘 [xin shi si niang]》: "Then he got up, mounted the donkey, and proceeded to walk staggeringly 「」." Also written as 「踉蹌 [liang qiang]」.

踉蹡:走路歪歪倒倒的樣子。《西遊記》第三二回:「原來是道路不平,未曾細看,忽被蓏蘿絆了個踉蹡。」《聊齋志異.卷四.辛十四娘》:「乃起跨驢,踉蹡而行。」也作「踉蹌」。
