laṭaka (लटक).—f ( H) An air, style, fashion, manner (of singing, speaking, walking). Ex. tyācē gāṇyā- cī la0 mī sādhāyālā jātōṃ paṇa sādhata nāhīṃ. 2 An ill habit or way; a vice or trick.

laṭakā (लटका).—a False, not true morally or physically, not accordant with truth or reality. 2 False, mendacious, fraudulent, perfidious, dishonest, knavish. 3 Vain, idle, fruitless;--used of labour, business &c. Ex. gēlōṃ kharā para kāma kāṃhīṃ jhālēṃ nāhīṃ laṭakī khēpa mātra paḍalī. 4 Unjust, not according to propriety or equity.
