Source: MDPI Books: The Ocean of Heroeslam la brten pa (ལམ་ལ་བརྟེན་པ) refers to the “relying on the path” and represents one of the Seven Best Offerings, according to the Bohitā commentary of the 10th-century Ḍākārṇava-tantra: one of the last Tibetan Tantric scriptures belonging to the Buddhist Saṃvara tradition consisting of 51 chapters.—Accordingly, “[...] Having made offerings of the nectar and so on and [articles] originated in himself through the moon[rise] and sunrise, and having performed the confession of sin and others [e.g., ‘relying on the path’—lam la brten pa], he should reflect on compassion and so on. Then, [having made] himself being of the nature of emptiness, he should contemplate [the mantra of] yogaśuddha (“being purified by yoga”) [...]”.
