lakaḍī (लकडी).—f ( H Wood.) Sugarcane-juice boiled to such a degree that, when taken off the fire and allowed to cool, it becomes of a hard consistence like wood. 2 Wood, or a piece of wood or stick. Pr. lakaḍīvāñcūna makaḍī vaṭhata nāhīṃ. It is scarcely used in this sense except in the above saw. 3 A variety of the śāḷū species of jōndhaḷā.
