1) Lighter, lower, very light &c.; (compar. of laghu q. v.).
2) Involving less labour, less laborious; अदृष्टार्थच्छन्दवृत्तिर्लघीयसी (adṛṣṭārthacchandavṛttirlaghīyasī) ŚB. on MS.11.1.48.
