Source: What is India: Annual Report on Indian Epigraphy (1945-1952)Laddagiri is an archaeologically important site situated in Kurnool-taluk (Kurnool district, Madras), known for inscriptions regarding the ancient history of India. For example, at Laddagiri there is a damaged stone near the ruins of the Rāmappa temple which seems to register a gift made by Suṅkarerggaḍas Ajja…Karasarāja and Devaparāja to god Rāmeśvara.
This inscriptions is in the Kannaḍa language and belongs to king Jagadekamalla of the Western Chālukya dynasty.
