lābhalōbha (लाभलोभ).—m (S) corruptly lābhalōbhā m Desire of advantage or gain; intentness upon or aim after profit. 2 (not lābhalōbhā, and lōbha here is a mere reduplication of lābha) Advantage or benefit, gain or good, indefinitely or generally. Ex. mī tīna varṣēṃ vyāpāra karitōṃ parantu lā0 mhaṭalā tara kāṃhīṃ ēka nāhīṃ. 3 Profit or love; the sense of interest or the sentiment of affection. Ex. lā0 dharūna kōṇhī kōṇhācēṃ kāma karitō Whosoever serves another, it is because he seeks some advantage or feels some attachment. lābhālōbhāvāñcūna kōṇa kōṇhālā pusēla Without regard to one's own interest, or without love or affection, who will care for whom? lābhālōbhācā One attached to or connected with whether by interest or by affection. Ex. caughē lābhālōbhācē asalē mhaṇajē nirvāha hōtō.
