1. To cut in pieces, divide; துண்டாக்குதல். [thundakkuthal.]
2. To distribute in portions or small quantities; பங்கிடுதல். [pangiduthal.] — intransitive To exercise authority, as in the assessment of taxes, etc.; மணியம் பண்ணு தல். கூறுசெய்த ஊரிலே குறும்புசெய்து [maniyam pannu thal. kuruseytha urile kurumbuseythu] (அஷ்டதாச ரகஸ்யம் [ashdathasa ragasyam] 71).
