Source: What is India: Inscriptions of the ŚilāhārasKumāradroṇa refers to a form of tax used during the rule of the Śilāhāra dynasty (r. 765-1215 A.D.).—In one record a similar term, viz., kumāradroṇa is found used, which shows that the tax was paid in the form of a coin in some regions and in that of a grain-measure like droṇa in some others.
