Source: Wikisource: A dictionary of Sanskrit grammarKulālādi (कुलालादि).—A class of words headed by the word कुलाल (kulāla) to which the taddhita affix अक (aka) (वुञ् (vuñ)) is applied in the sense of 'made by', provided the word so formed is used as a proper noun; e g.कौलालकम्, वारुडकम् (kaulālakam, vāruḍakam); cf. Kāś. on P.IV.3.118.
Vyakarana (व्याकरण, vyākaraṇa) refers to Sanskrit grammar and represents one of the six additional sciences (vedanga) to be studied along with the Vedas. Vyakarana concerns itself with the rules of Sanskrit grammar and linguistic analysis in order to establish the correct context of words and sentences.
