Kollapūraka (कोल्लपूरक).—The city of Kollapūraka is recorded ia Seonī grant of Pravarasena II. It has been identified by Dr. Mirashi with Kulpa, five miles to the west of Bamhani in the vicinity of Karanja.

Kollapūraka (कोल्लपूरक).—The real name of the place is Kholāpur and it was founded by Kholeśvara, a well-known general of the great Yādava king Siṅghaṇa, who named it after himself and granted it as an agrahāra to Brāhmaṇas. Kollapūraka of the plates is now represented by Kulpā near Kārañjā, about 5 miles to the west of Bahmnī.
