Source: Shodhganga: Kakati Ganapatideva and his timesThe Kolanu region corresponding to present Elur, Tanuk, Bhimavaram taluks of West Godavari district was ruled by the Saronāthas of Kolanu. The contemporary ruler was Kolanu Keśavadeva (A.D. 1196-1233), who nominally allied himself with the Cālukya-Colas.
