For example, at Kilāmbākkam there is a fragmentary Tamil inscription on a stray stone lying near a liṅga in the village. It commences with the praśasti Tiṅglertaru, etc.
This inscription belongs to king Rājakesarivarman Rājādhirājadeva of the Chola dynasty.
