Source: archive.org: Ceylon Branch of the Royal Asiatic Society 1963Kibigama is the name of an ancient area corresponding to present Vevālkāṭiya, mentioned in inscriptions in connection with Amgam-kuliya: a district that once existed in the ancient kingdom of Anurādhapura, Ceylon (Sri Lanka).—The inscriptions mention:—(i) Demel Vehera at Kibinilam or Kibigama (present Vevālkāṭiya); and (ii) Itnarugama (present Kirigollāva).
