Source: DDSA: The Molesworth Marathi and English Dictionarykhōlaṭaṇēṃ (खोलटणें).—v i in some places khōlagaṭaṇēṃ v i (khōlaṭa or khōla) To fall into hollows or a hollow, to sink--ground, as from rain &c. 2 To sink, to become sunken or hollow--eyes, cheeks, belly &c. 3 To undergo the sinking on both sides of the rump (the parting of the free bones) which usually precedes and indicates calving--a cow or buffalo.
