Pr. kāmālā marāvēṃ kharavaḍīlā japāvēṃ To die at the thought of work, but to look sharply after the scrapings (of the pot); or, as interpreted by some, To work hard and to save all. Descriptive of true household wisdom--industry and frugality. 2 fig. Abusing or scolding coarsely and violently. v kāḍha g. of o. Ex. hyācī myāṃ bhalī kha0 kāḍhalī. 3 The remains of a fortune.
