Source: Sutta: The Pali Text Society's Pali-English DictionaryKhandhabīja refers to: “trunk seed” as one kind of var. seeds, with mūla° phaḷu° agga° bīja° at Vin. V, 132, & D. I, 5, expld. DA. I, 81: nāma assattho nigrodho pilakkho udumbaro kacchako kapitthano ti evam-ādi.
Note: khandhabīja is a Pali compound consisting of the words khandha and bīja.
