Source: DDSA: The Molesworth Marathi and English Dictionarykhaṇḍaṇēṃ (खंडणें).—v c (khaṇḍana S) To break; to reduce into parts: also to shatter or smash. This verb is indefinite, and but little regards the distinction betwixt tōḍa- ṇēṃ & mōḍaṇēṃ. 2 To confute, refute, redargue. 3 To contract for; to stipulate certain work or service for certain money; or vice versâ. 4 To settle the price or terms of (of a thing to be purchased or hired).
