Tibetan Buddhism (Vajrayana or tantric Buddhism)

Khaḍgasiddhi (खड्गसिद्धि) or “the siddhi of the sword” and refers to “the ability to dwell in celestial realms while still alive” . It is one of the “Eight Ordinary Accomplishments” (or Siddhis) which are known in Tibetan as thun mong gi dngos grub brgyad and in Sanskrit as Aṣṭa-Sādhāraṇa-Siddhi.

Khaḍgasiddhi (खड्गसिद्धि) refers to the “accomplishments of the sword”, according to the 10th-century Ḍākārṇava-tantra: one of the last Tibetan Tantric scriptures belonging to the Buddhist Saṃvara tradition consisting of 51 chapters.—Accordingly, [while explaining the knowledge circle (jñānacakra)]: “[...] [There are accomplishments of] the sword [e.g., khaḍgasiddhi], eye-ointment, and pill; [accomplishments of] the foot-ointment and alchemy; and accomplishments of the shoes, quicksilver, and the underworld: the wise can attain [them] The third, the Knowledge Circle, is thus [taught]. [...]”.
