Source: Encyclopedia of Jainism: Tattvartha Sutra 8: Bondage of karmasKevaladarśanāvaraṇa (केवलदर्शनावरण) refers to “perfect perception-obscuring” and is another name for Kevaladarśana, or “perfect perception” which represents one of the nine divisions of Darśanāvaraṇa, or “knowledge obscuring (karmas)”, which represents one of the eight types of Prakṛti-bandha (species bondage): one of the four kinds of bondage (bandha) according to the 2nd-century Tattvārthasūtra chapter 8.
