Ketakīpatra (केतकीपत्र) refers to the “screw pine leaf utensils” (used for food) according to the 17th century Bhojanakutūhala (dravyaguṇāguṇa-kathana).—The food-utensils that are made of Ketakīpatra (peepal tree leaf) have the following dietetic effects: manohara, rucikara, laghu and cākṣuṣya (pleasing, tasty, light and beneficial to the eyes).
